Dear Dad,
How are you and everyone at home? I hope you are all well. I am writing to let you know how I am preparing for my coming examination.
I have made a reading timetable and I follow it every day. I read my notes in the morning and solve past questions in the evening. I also meet my friends on weekends for group study, and I ask my teachers about topics I do not understand. I sleep early so that I stay fresh and I pray before I study.
Please do not worry, Dad. I am confident that I will do well, and I will make you proud.
Please greet Mum and my younger ones for me.

(b) Plan: introduction (when and where), the preparation, the journey and the interesting event, the arrival, and the conclusion (what I learnt). Write 4 to 5 paragraphs with a title, in the past tense, using good vocabulary and correct paragraphs.
