PAPER III - TASK I: SPEED AND ACCURACY (25 WPM) Instructions: (a) Type the passage with 14 font size. (b) Indent the paragraphs at 5 character spaces. (c) Set margin at 15 and 70. (d) Type in double-line spacing. THE ART OF DRAWING The duties of a secretary vary from firm to firm and between offices within the same firm. Some of them are given a great deal of work by their bosses, while others perform the job of a shorthand typist. However, there are many duties which are common to all secretaries in whichever office they may work either as a copy typist or confidential secretary. About seventy-five percent of them still produce work on the typewriter for their bosses. A few may use word processor instead of manual typewriter. The work may be a result of transcribing from shorthand notes or audio tapes. There will most likely be a certain amount of copy typing, but on few cases, there may be a short piece of note taken by the secretary.
