(I) delicate - frail, fragile, weak, poor, ailing. (II) ominous - threatening, menacing, foreboding, portentous, eerie. (III) an obligation - a duty, a responsibility, a commitment, an onus. (IV) overcast - cloudy, (very) dark, grey, clouded, hazy, sunless. (V) pensively - thoughtfully, reflectively, contemplatively.
