Explanation

Let Habib = x, Olu = y. x - y = 11 and xy = 180. Substituting x = 11+y into xy=180 gives y²+11y-180=0, so y = 9 (taking the positive root). Olu's present age is 9, so five years ago Olu was 9 - 5 = 4.
