The organ that receives reduced flow of blood during vigorous exercise except

  • A. A. the brainCorrect
  • B. B. heart
  • C. C. lung
  • D. D. limb

Explanation

During exercise, the heart rate increases, which increases the flow of blood to the brain. The brain is the one organ whose blood flow cannot be reduced, since there must be a constant supply of blood to it to provide sufficient oxygen; blood flow to the limbs, lungs and skin is adjusted to support increased muscular activity.
