6(a)(ii) Explain two ways by which a person becomes immune to yellow fever.
Model answer
The immune system enjoys immunity against yellow fever either naturally or artificially acquired. Naturally Acquired Immunity: this is through the production of antibodies by the body which help combat the disease. Artificially Acquired Immunity: this is through the production of antibodies by vaccination.
