PAPER IV - TECHNICAL DRAWING

1(a) On the drawing sheet, draw the borderlines and a title block showing: (i) your name (ii) your school (iii) examination number (iv) scale (v) date.

Accepted Answer

1. Draw the border lines about 10 mm inside the edges of the sheet with a T-square and set square, using a thick line.
2. At the bottom right, draw a rectangular title block (for example 120 mm x 40 mm).
3. Divide it into five boxes with thin lines.
4. Letter in capitals: NAME, SCHOOL, EXAM NO., SCALE (e.g. 1:1), DATE.
5. Keep the lettering the same height and the lines clean and even.
