It is high time we recognised the significance of these clubs and societies and reignite their flames to enrich the lives of students and foster a holistic learning experience. Clubs and societies have long been an integral part of schools, offering a plethora of opportunities for students to explore their interests beyond the conventional academic curriculum. These clubs serve as platforms for students to delve deep into their passions, be it in the realm of arts, sports, debate, community service, or any other field. Firstly, clubs and societies provide a nurturing ground for leadership skills. Students actively involved in these activities often find themselves in positions of responsibility, be it as club leaders or organisers of events, taking charge of initiatives, coordinating activities and working in teams to build leadership qualities that will prove invaluable in their future endeavours.
