21. An object initially at a distance of 10cm from a plane mirror moves at a speed of 10cm/s away from the mirror. What would be the distance between the object and the image after 5s?

  • A. A. 1.2mCorrect
  • B. B. 60cm
  • C. C. 50cm
  • D. D. 20cm

Explanation

Additional distance moved in 5s = 10x5 = 50cm. New object distance = 10+50 = 60cm. Image distance (plane mirror) = object distance = 60cm. Distance between object and image = 60+60 = 120cm = 1.2m.
