Model answer
(i) An estuarine habitat is a point where a big river enters the ocean/sea. The salt water from the ocean mixes with the fresh water from the river to form an intermediate body of water known as brackish water. (ii) A typical estuarine food chain: photoplankton → barnacles → fish → bird.
