Step 1: Add enough water to dissolve the pellets of NaOH. Step 2: Add the NaOH solution to the vegetable oil, then stir the mixture and boil. Step 3: Cool the resulting mixture to precipitate out the soap/salt. Step 4: Filter off the soap and remove the soap crust.
