Factors hindering the eradication of cultism in Nigerian schools: (i) God-fatherism and backup given to cult groups by significant, notable and influential members of the society. Especially, the policeman use them as 'errand boys'. (ii) Victimization and intimidation of school authorities by cult groups also slows down the eradication of cultism.
