Reasons why eradication of cultism in schools will promote national development: (i) Eradication of cultism will bring about peaceful co-existence among students, lecturers and other non-academic staff in school campuses. (ii) It will also increase the number of employable graduates. (iii) Stable calendar ensures conducive environment for learning and harmonious relationship will be ensured. (iv) It will promote values re-orientation and adherence. (v) The spirit of nationalism and patriotism will be strengthened among the students.
