Functions of the national agency for the prohibition of traffic in persons and other related matters (NAPTIP): (i) Co-ordination of all laws on trafficking in persons and other related matters. (ii) Adoption of measures to increase the effectiveness of eradication of trafficking in persons. (iii) Supervision, control and co-ordination of the rehabilitation of trafficked victims or persons. (iv) Prosecution of human trafficking perpetrators. (v) Enlightenment and public awareness on the dangers of human trafficking.
