Epigram is a short, witty, concise and often paradoxical remark or saying. Epigram can also be a short poem often expressing single idea that is usually satirical and has a witty ending. An example of epigram is: 'God bless the king — I mean the Faith's defender! God bless (no harm in blessing) the Pretender! But whoso pretender is or who is king — God bless us all! That's quite another thing.'
