(i) Diffusion is the movement of molecules of a substance from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration until evenly distributed (equilibrium).
(ii) Any two of: temperature, surface area/concentration gradient, density of the substances, medium of diffusion.
(iii) Rate of diffusion is inversely proportional to the square root of the density of the gas (Graham's law): rate ∝ 1/√density.
