(Speech) INAUGURATION SPEECH BY THE SENIOR PREFECT Good morning to the Principal, Vice Principal, distinguished members of staff, fellow prefects, and my dear students. It is with deep gratitude and a profound sense of responsibility that I stand before you today as the newly elected Senior Prefect of this noble institution. I accept this role not as a reward, but as a call to serve - with dedication, fairness, and integrity. To move forward as a community, we must first uphold the principle of discipline - not merely the enforcement of rules, but the cultivation of self-respect, accountability, and consistency, upheld with fairness and empathy. However, discipline must be balanced with a vibrant intellectual life. I will support initiatives that encourage collaboration, mentorship, and academic excellence for every student, regardless of ability. I am equally committed to fostering unity and inclusion within our school community, ensuring every student feels heard, valued, and that their concerns are addressed with urgency and care. I will lead not by command, but by example, and invite each of you to walk this path with me, not behind me, but beside me.
